Our Story:
Nyah's Nifty Nook was founded from a lifelong passion for creativity and a deep-seated love for learning. From a young age, I was captivated by the creation process – whether it was making body scrubs, crafting body butter dubbed the 'miracle cream,' or experimenting with crayon lipsticks. This early passion for crafting was later complemented by my academic pursuits, where I developed a keen interest in science and its applications in everyday life.
My journey has been one of continuous learning and growth. Throughout my academic career at the University of British Columbia, where I study applied animal biology, I have applied knowledge from courses such as cognitive psychology, organic chemistry, and biochemistry to enhance the quality and effectiveness of my products. This blend of creativity and scientific rigour is the foundation of Nyah's Nifty Nook.
A Passion for Crafting and Science:
Growing up, my curiosity and enthusiasm for creating never diminished. My grandma's kitchen often became my laboratory where I experimented with various natural ingredients, much to her dismay. These early experiences laid the groundwork for a deeper understanding of how everyday materials can be transformed into something extraordinary.
As I progressed through my studies, I was able to merge my creative inclinations with scientific principles. This unique combination has allowed me to design products that are not only enjoyable to use but also beneficial for mental and physical well-being.
